My Story
You want me to sell WHAT? I aint no salesperson! I couldnt even sell a heater to an Eskimo.
Who can relate to that? If you had asked me 2, 3, even 10 years ago if I would ever have been a Direct Marketer I probably would of laughed at you. But, well, look at me today....hahahaha, laughing my way to the bank.
Ok, seriously, why did I join Scentsy? Well, my niece is a Consultant and she introduced me to Scentsy back in 2012. I had always burned candles. I loved the scent. Had them in every room in my house. I browsed through a Scentsy catalog my niece had sent me and found two warmers that I just had to have. My niece, because she lived in another state, helped me pick out some scents and that is when I made my first purchase. I continued to buy candles until a couple years later when my son caught his curtains on fire while lighting candles in his room. No damage was done but I immediately ditched the candles, called my niece and ordered more wax.
Fast forward to January of 2017 when Scentsy was having a join special and I signed up under my niece so I could get my wax myself. I didnt know anyone else who used Scentsy or had even heard of it for that matter. But in my first 15 days when I launched my business, I discovered that there was a whole Scentsy world out there of people who loved this stuff! Who da ever thunk?!
I love this little wax business of mine. I have so much fun and meet so many great people. I get to travel and I get paid for it all. What an adventure this is. And I am not a salesperson!
